Srinagar : A band saw mill, located near District Police Lines (DPL) in Tullamulla area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal was damaged in a fire incident on Wednesday afternoon.
An official said that the mill, co-owned by Farooq Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Ahmad and Mohammad Ramzan Bhat, son of Mohammad Yousuf—both residents of Tullamulla, caught fire.
Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported during the incident, the official said, adding that the fire-fighters promptly arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control. The cause of the fire is being ascertained, he said
