8 top IAS Officers transfered

Srinagar: The Government on Tuesday ordered transfers of eight top IAS officers as detailed below:
1. Asgar Hassan Samoon, IAS(JK:1993), Financial Commissioner, Revenue,
is transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the Government, Animal and
Sheep Husbandry Department.
2. Sarita Chauhan, IAS(JK:1999), Chairperson, J&K Special Tribunal, is transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Higher Education
Department, relieving Mohammad Javed Khan, IAS, Secretary to
the Government, Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports Department of
the additional charge of the post.
3. Raj Kumar Bhagat, IAS(JK:2000), Commissioner/ Secretary to the Government,Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department, is transferred and posted
as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Tribal Affairs Department.
4. Salma Hamid, IAS(JK:2004), Secretary to the Government, Tribal Affairs
Department, is transferred and posted as Chairperson, J&K Special Tribunal.
5. Farooq Ahmad Shah, IAS(JK:2004), Secretary to the Government, School
Education Department, is transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government,
PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Department.
6. Rigzian Sampheal, IAS(UP:2003),to the Government, Tourism Department, shall also hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, School Education
Department, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
7. M. Raju, IAS(JK:2005), Secretary to the Government, PHE, Irrigation and
Flood Control Department, also holding the charge of Administrative Secretary, Transport Department, is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Commercial
Taxes, J&K.
8.Saugat Biswas, IAS(JK:2006), Transport Commissioner, J&K, shall also hold the
charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Transport Department, till
further orders.
