Kashmir paradise Across Globe “Crown Of India”

For centuries, poets & travelers called Kashmir a paradise on Earth. Kashmir throughout the ages has remained another name for paradise, cradled in the lap of majestic mountains of Himalayas Kashmir is the world’s most beautiful place across the globe. Kashmir gives you million of reasons to celebrate its existence. A picture perfect scene with snow clad-mountains, sparkling lakes with sailing Shikaras, tuft of colorful tulips and steady houseboats inflate lungs of the onlookers. Kashmir, the northwestern province of the Indian subcontinent renders the opportunity to experience the onrush of scenery closely. A proud capital of the state, Srinagar invites all for a resplendent treat of sailing through the sparkling Dal Lake, a stroll through the gardens of Shalimar Bagh and seeking blessings at Jama Masjid and Shankaracharya Temple. Srinagar is undoubtedly amongst the best places to enjoy holidays in Kashmir. Every district of Kashmir has its own tourist destinations which attracts the tourists. Every year lakh’s of tourists visit Kashmir especially to Gangabal, Vishansar and other trekking destinations of Kangan Area. Mount Haramukh (5142 m) in Ganderbal district has been considered sacred by Hindus, who often throng the mountain. The easiest route for climbing starts via Arin Bandipora. Mount Haramukh is comparatively a tough trekking site, but still it intrigues adventure seekers.
A short film to revive tourism in Jammu and Kashmir is touching hearts and making waves on the internet. Within 72 hours, the film warmest place on earth had clocked over five million views on social media. The five-minute-long video is aimed at changing the perception that Kashmir valley is unsafe for tourists. It showcases Kashmiri hospitality and how every person in the valley welcomes tourists. Kashmir is dominated largely by long stretches of Scenic Mountains, the Valley of Kashmir covers an area of 224,739 sq km. The Great Himalaya range separates Kashmir from Ladakh, whereas, the Pir Panjal range confines it as a valley by drawing a border and separating it from the northern plains. Therefore expect serene, scenic and sensual landscape that nurtures the valley as an ideal destination for holidays in Kashmir. Dal lake Located in the scenic capital of Srinagar, Dal Lake has been one of the prime tourist attractions in Kashmir. It is known for its sparkling water and the ride on thin canopied boats called Shikaras. The constant floating hotels or accommodations namely the Houseboats are yet another attraction of the lake. Sonamarg the land of Gold it is called as Gateway to the ancient Silk Road that connects Kashmir with China and Gulf countries, Sonamarg is indeed the Meadow of Gold. The scenic landscape and accessibility to several glaciers make Sonamarg one of the popular places to visit in Kashmir. It also acts as a vital base camp for trekkers to many glaciers in the vicinity.

To promote sustainable tourism and encourage the conservation and preservation of unique natural and cultural heritage of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, to encourage Tourism Research and development in regional universities of the state.

The renowned base of Amarnath Yatra, Pahalgam is popularly called the Valley of Shepherd. The small town of Kashmir has now converted into a premium resort. Set up in rustic attire, Pahalgam offers tourists most modern comforts. Gulmarg opens door for a world of adventure and priceless peace amidst the tranquil landscape that simultaneously inflates lungs with the onrush of adventure activities. The erstwhile land of the shepherds, Gulmarg plays an important part in setting up Kashmir as a pioneer tourist destination. Mughal Gardens are the shine of Kashmir, the Mughal Gardens, namely Shalimar, Nishat and Chashme Shahi Bagh are known for their exquisite beauty and flower arrangement. Built during the reign of the Mughal, these gardens are one of the prime tourist attractions in Kashmir. The Mughals aptly called the Kashmir paradise on earth. Kashmir is indeed the paradise on earth. The valley is so pleasing and would make you fall in love the first time you visit it. Skiing on the wonderful mountains, trekking on hills or simple day/night walks are what make it more adventurous. Sparkling lakes, snow capped mountains, lush green flowerbeds makes it different from other hill station which proves it to be the most beautiful place on this planet and mesmerizing in its own way. Kashmir is truly the crown of world. Kashmir is known as ‘Paradise on Earth’ and Switzerland of India for its natural and picturesque landscapes. Kashmir is a place which is of immense beauty. It is famous not just in India, but also all over the world for its paradisiacal appeal. The prized possession of Jammu & Kashmir state, the Valley of Kashmir renders opportunities to experience nature’s best.
Tourism department and Ministry of tourism must make various videos about the hospitality of Kashmiri people to tourists and they must advertise the Kashmiri tourist destinations on social media. To develop potential new and emerging markets through targeted marketing strategies based on tourist profile. To promote sustainable tourism and encourage the conservation and preservation of unique natural and cultural heritage of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, to encourage Tourism Research and development in regional universities of the state.
