Police Flags Off Group of Students for 25th Rashtra Katha Shivir

Srinagar : On the directions of IGP Kashmir, V. K. Birdi, the Zonal Police Headquarters Kashmir organized a flag-off ceremony at District Police Lines, Srinagar here on Wednesday. This event marked the departure of 22 students from the Kashmir Valley, accompanied by two caretakers, to participate in the 25th Rashtra Katha Shivir in Rajkot, Gujarat, scheduled from December 28, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
The “25th Rashtra Katha Shivir,” hosted by Vedic Mission Trust, is designed to foster critical life skills and inspire the youth through motivational sessions led by distinguished speakers. DIG CKR Srinagar, Rajiv Pandey, SSP Srinagar, and other senior officers attended the event, adding to its significance.
The Zonal Police Headquarters Kashmir has made comprehensive arrangements for the students, including all boarding and lodging facilities. Additionally, each participant was provided with a customized kit containing clothing and other essentials to ensure their comfort and convenience during the program.
During an interactive session with the students, representing various parts of the Kashmir Valley, DIG CKR Srinagar emphasized the importance of the tour in promoting National Integration, Social and Religious Harmony, and personal development. He encouraged the students to embrace this unique opportunity to learn and grow while building lasting memories. DIG CKR also highlighted the importance of fostering a sense of nationalism and appreciating the diversity and richness of the country.
The initiative received widespread appreciation from parents and the students, who expressed their gratitude to J&K Police for organizing such a valuable and inspiring program. They commended the police for their efforts in facilitating participation in the 25th Rashtra Katha Shivir.
