Srinagar : Police in Ganderbal on Monday organised an awareness Programme on the New Criminal Laws at Govt. Degree College Ganderbal. The programme was chaired by SSP Ganderbal Sandeep Gupta.
The Programme was attended by DySP Hqrs Ganderbal Gh Hassan, Sr. PO Ganderbal Abdul Aziz Zaindari, DySP DAR DPL Ganderbal Nazir Ahmad, SHO Police Station Ganderbal, Lecturers & Students of Degree College Ganderbal. The event also witnessed significant participation from renowned educationists, social workers and respectable citizens.
On the occasion, SSP Ganderbal Sandeep Gupta talked about the amended criminal laws and asked the participants that these new laws are being implemented for speedy justice and are time bound. Moreover, Sr.PO Ganderbal provided the participants with a basic understanding of the new Criminal Laws, namely Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam. Prosecuting Officer Dr. Tabasum also throw light on the said theme.
