Srinagar: Police in Sopore on Friday organised a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Rafiabad.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, the meeting was chaired by SP Sopore Divya D accompanied by Dy SP DAR Sopore and Incharge SDPO Rafiabad, LO PC Rafiabad and IC PP Watergam.
The meeting was attended by Numberdars, Chowkidars, Representatives of Transport Associations/ Traders Federation, Respectables& Civil society members of concerned area including members of Auqaf Committees.
On the occasion participants highlighted various issues of public importance. During the course of interaction, co-operation of general public in eradication of drug abuse, social crimes, etc, were sought. Participants were urged to co-operate with Police in curbing the drug menace and in identifying anti-national and anti-social elements who always trying to disrupt the peaceful environment.
