Srinagar: Police in Sopore on Wednesday under the aegis of Civic Action Programme (CAP) of J&K Police, distributed sewing machines among poor and needy families at District Police Lines Sopore. DySP DAR Sopore Dr Hilal Ahmad Hilal alongwith AO Police District Sopore Shamim Aijaz distributed sewing machines among needy.
Interacting with the beneficiaries DySP DAR Sopore assured them all possible support from Police department in order to make their lives easy and comfortable. He advised the Police officers and jawans to show empathy and kindness towards needy segment of the society and come forward with a helping hand. He also asked the beneficiaries not to allow their social hindrances to come in their ways and to stay active in their lives in pursuit of their goals.
