Srinagar: Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front ( J&K PDF) and former Minister Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen on Wednesday greeted people on the annual Urs of Peer Dastgeer , Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA) being observed today on Thursday.
According to a statement issued here, Yaseen urged people to follow the foot prints of Sheikh Syed Abdul QadirJeelani (RA), adding therein that in the teachings and practices of Hazrat Peer Dastageer (RA) lies the way ahead to get out of the evils and tribulations of present times.
The PDF chairman said that Sheikh Syed Abdul QadirJeelani (RA) was the revered “Wali” of highest order ,who has shown the course of righteousness , compassion and mutual co- existence.
