Adv.Rashid Hanjuris autobiography “Boni Shehjaras,” released.

Srinagar: “Boni Shehjaras,” a book comprising autobiography of Adv. Ab Rashid Hanjura ( Hazim ) was released at an impressive literary function organised by Kashmir Concern Foundation in collaboration with Islamic Relief and Research Trust kashmir at Ahat Waqar – center for senior citizens – Chanapora here today . Prominent writer and scholar Prof. Mohd Zaman Azurda and Rtd justice Rashid Ali Dar were the chief guests on the occasion . English and Urdu versions of the book have already been published. All the three versions are now available at Amazan.
Writer and poet Inayat Gul and Dr Rauf Adil kralwari presented thier thought provoking papers on the quality and content of the book. On this occasion four prominent kashmiri poets were also presented awards . They included Ab Rehman Lateef ( Maqbool Shah kralwari award ) ,Assad ullah Assas ( Shiekh ul Alam award ) , Gh Mohi ud Din Shaheen ( Karam Buland award ) and Peer Mohi ud Din ( Yaseen shah award ).
As many as ten persons from print and electronic media were also presented awards ,mementos and certificates for thier extra ordinary performance in the field of journalism . A lively Natiya Mehfil-e-Mushaira was also conducted on the occasion which was chaired by former Director Radio kashmir Syed Himayoon Qisar . Poems recited by the poets created a soulful spiritual atmosphere.
In their presidential addresses , Prof Mohd Zaman Azurda and Justice Rashid Ali highlighted the importance of writing autobiographies for creating inspiration among the new generations from the rich experiences and observations of intellectual class of the society. They extended thier congratulations all the award winners and also to Adv. Ab Rashid Hanjura for publishing his autobiograohy “ Bone Shahjaras” ۔ Shamshaad Kralwari presented vote of thanks.
