ADGP Armed J&K promotes 366 Police Personnel

Jammu : S.J.M Gillani the Addl. Director General of Police, Armed J&K on Tuesday issued promotion orders of One Assistant Sub Inspector to the rank of Sub Inspector and 365 Head Constables to the rank of Assistant Sub Inspectors in J&K Armed Police.
According to a statement issued from Armed Police Headquarters Jammu, the promotion orders of the aforesaid officers were on Tuesday issued after the DPC headed by ADGP Armed J&K as its chairman assessed the cases of eligible ASIs & HCs and found them fit for promotion to their next ranks in light of the relevant promotion norms.
The ADGP congratulated the newly promoted SIs and ASIs and wished good luck to them and their families. The ADGP hoped that the newly promoted Officers shall consistently demonstrate discipline, hard work and dedication towards their assignments and always come-up to the expectations of people. While issuing the aforesaid promotion orders the ADGP Armed said that the promotion process of SgCts and Constables of J&K Armed Police is also under process in the Armed Police Headquarters. The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) headed by S.J.M Gillani ADGP Armed J&K comprised of Mubashir Latifi-SSP Commandant IR-15thBn,Virinder Singh-SSP AIG(P) PHQ J&K,Mohammad Shafi Rather Dy.Director Prosecution APHQ J&K, Ab. Hamid Dar DySP (Pers) APHQ J&K, Abdul Hamid Dar-Inspector (M) I/C GB, Krishan Saroop Rathore Sub-Inspector I/C Research & Development Branch, John Muzaffar-SI(M) I/C Provision Section and Abdul Rashid-HC DA Account Section APHQ J&K.
