Police facilitate PCPG meeting in Pulwama

Pulwama : As a part of Public outreach programme, Police in Pulwama facilitated a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Post Newa.
According to a police statement the meeting was chaired by SSP Pulwama GhJeelani Wani accompanied by Dy SP Hqrs Pulwama. The meeting was attended by respectables citizens of village Newa. During the meeting, the participants raised various issues of Public importance. The chairing officer assured them that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority and every possible help will be provided to the people of the area and issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with concerned departments for their early redressal.
The participants were also requested to co-operate with Police and administration in maintaining law & order in the area and in identifying anti-national & anti-social elements. The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
