BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 24:  Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, today chaired a meeting to review the onboarding of stores and enterprises under Mission YUVA’s ONDC ecosystem,.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the transition to digital commerce would provide local business operators with wider market access, improve their digital presence and create opportunities to enhance sales by connecting them with customers beyond their immediate markets.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned department to organise orientation and training programmes at the earliest to facilitate a smooth transition of local businesses to digital commerce.

During the meeting, the Mission YUVA Marketing Expert briefed the participants on the initiative and its key interventions under the 4C framework including Culture, Capacity, Capital and Connectivity, aimed at building an entrepreneurial mindset, strengthening skills and training, facilitating access to funding and improving market access and growth.

The meeting discussed onboarding local stores onto the Mission YUVA Seller App, enabling them to establish a digital store presence and access newer markets through the ONDC network. The Seller App provides features including 0% commission on sales, order management, digital store presence and increased access to newer market segments.

The participants were also apprised of the seller onboarding and order journey, covering registration, catalogue creation, sharing of QR codes, receipt of online orders, self-delivery and collection of payment.

The initiative further outlines the use of DigiHaat as the buyer app, through which customers can discover and order from onboarded stores.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Director Employment Bandipora, Mohammad Owais Gurkoo; representatives of Municipal Councils, Department of Labour, State Taxes Department, NRLM, Handicrafts & Handloom Department, Mission YUVA, Business Help Desks and Traders Association, besides other concerned officials.
