Srinagar : Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir Nasir-ul-Islam has urged authorities to take action against SPA and massage centres allegedly involved in unlawful activities in the Valley.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Nasir-ul-Islam expressed concern over reports of alleged illicit activities at some such establishments and called for necessary inspections by the concerned authorities.
He said any establishment found violating the law should face action in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
The Grand Mufti also stressed that commercial establishments must operate within the legal framework while remaining mindful of Jammu and Kashmir’s social and cultural values.
