Srinagar : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday paid floral tributes at the BalidanStambh in Srinagar on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day.
The Chief Minister laid a wreath at the memorial and observed a moment of silence in honour of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the service of the nation.
Director General of Police J&K Nalin Prabhat, ADGP Headquarters, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, senior civil and police officers, security personnel and others were present on the occasion.
