New Delhi: Ten family members of Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar and his top four close associates were killed in Indian military strikes in Pakistan’s Bahawalpur Subhanallah complex which was used by the terror group as a sanctuary.
Those killed include Masood Azhar’s elder sister and brother-in-law, his nephew and his wife. Another niece and five children of his family were also killed, said a news report quoting statement by the JeM chief. It added that a close aide of Azhar and two other close associates were also killed in the Indian strikes. India struck nine terror camps linked to Jaish, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir . The strikes on the Subhan Allah complex in Bahawalpur were one of the two significant strikes as part of ‘Operation Sindoor.’ India struck nine hideouts of Lashker-e-Toiba and Jaish in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) killing over 80 terrorists.
