Jamia Millia Islamia’s Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), housed within the Centre for Coaching and Career Planning, is gearing up to open its doors for aspiring civil servants with a heartening announcement. Applications for their esteemed free coaching program, complete with hostel facilities, tailored for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025, are about to commence.

This groundbreaking initiative invites candidates from minority groups, SC, ST, and women communities to seize this golden opportunity. The application portal will swing open its gates on March 18, welcoming eager applicants until the closing date on May 19. To embark on this transformative journey, hopefuls can sign up at jmicoe.in and set their sights on a brighter future. Delving deeper into this holistic endeavor, the university plans to conduct entrance examinations across ten strategic centers spanning Delhi, Srinagar, Jammu, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Mumbai, Patna, Lucknow, Bengaluru, and Malappuram. This wide-reaching initiative ensures accessibility and inclusivity for aspiring civil servants nationwide. This year, the program offers an impressive quota of 100 seats, each accompanied by compulsory hostel accommodation, ensuring a conducive learning environment for all participants. In the event of limited hostel space, priority will be accorded based on the merit garnered in the entrance examination, ensuring fairness and transparency in the selection process.

“In essence, Jamia Millia Islamia’s RCA stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity, offering a transformative pathway for aspiring civil servants to unlock their full potential and embark on a journey of service and leadership.”

The selection criteria for applicants encompass a rigorous entrance test and a subsequent interview. Scheduled for June 1, the written test is divided into two parts: paper 1 focusing on general studies and paper 2 dedicated to essay writing. While paper 1 comprises objective-type questions and carries 100 marks, paper 2 holds a weightage of 60 marks. Only the top 900 performers in paper 1 will proceed to have their essays evaluated. A pivotal aspect of the selection process is the interview, constituting 40 marks, conducted via an online platform. This comprehensive approach ensures that candidates not only possess academic prowess but also exhibit the essential qualities and aptitudes required for civil service roles. In essence, Jamia Millia Islamia’s RCA stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity, offering a transformative pathway for aspiring civil servants to unlock their full potential and embark on a journey of service and leadership.
