Ayodhya (UP): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for projects totaling Rs 15,700 crore, including the inauguration of Maharishi Valmiki Internatic Airport and the redevelopment of Ayodhya Dham railway station, during his visit to Ayodhya on Saturday.

Besides, the PM will flag off six Vande Bharat and two Amrit Bharat trains. The date of December 30 will be etched in golden letters in Ayodhya’s history, and a new era of development will begin in the city of Lord Shri Ram.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the redeveloped Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station to the nation. He will also flag off six new Vande Bharat trains. These include Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express, Amritsar-Delhi Vande Bharat Express, Coimbatore-Bangalore Vande Bharat Express, Mangalore-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express, Jalna-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express, and Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Vande Bharat Express.

The two Amrit Bharat trains to be flagged off by the PM include the Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express and the Malda Town-Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru) Amrit Bharat Express.

Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, built at a cost of Rs 1,462.97 crore, is equipped with modern facilities and is a reminder of the glory of the Treta Yuga of Ayodhya. The architecture and design of this airport is very special.

It is completely inspired by the life of Lord Ram and has been developed on the basis of ‘Nagar style’. It has seven peaks, one of which is the main peak in the middle, and three peaks at the front and three at the back.

Lord Ram has been depicted at many levels at the airport. A large mural of a bow and arrow has been installed outside the airport, which is a symbol of the efforts of Lord Ram. At the same time, the use of colours in the landscaping of the airport has been inspired by the five elements.

Seven pillars have been used in the main building of the airport, which represent the seven episodes of Ramayana. At the same time, two types of mural plaques have been used in the decoration of the airport, which is equipped with all modern amenities, namely Daivik and Khandika plaques.

Additionally, a wall mural is also dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It has a complete depiction from the birth of Lord Hanuman till his establishment in Ayodhya as per the orders of Lord Ram.

The three-storey-high Ram Darbar and the depiction of Sita-Ram marriage made in Madhubani paintings will fascinate everyone who comes here.

It may be noted that three flights will operate daily between Ahmedabad and Ayodhya from the airport starting January 11. The first flight will fly between Delhi and Ayodhya on January 6. After the initial operation, the process of operationalising international flights will be started from this airport, after which Ayodhya will be directly connected to the global circuit and this will be a moment for the city to regain its lost glory.
