Yadadri Bhuvanagiri (Telangana): AICC General Secretary, expressed concern over the impact of the BRS government’s nine-year tenure on the people of Telangana.

She urged citizens to carefully evaluate the government’s actions and make an informed decision.

During a roadshow in Bhuvanagiri as part of the election campaign, the Congress leader highlighted the challenges faced by various sections of society, including small shop owners, farmers, students, and individuals in low-income jobs, and acknowledged the difficulties prevailing in their lives.

She questioned whether the government was meeting the expectations of the people in their daily lives, emphasizing the need for a thorough evaluation of the current administration.

Gandhi criticized the government’s handling of issues such as demonetization and the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. She expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s response to the hardships faced by the public during these crises, particularly its alleged lack of support for small businesses and individuals struggling to make ends meet.

The Congress leader also raised concerns about the employment scenario in Telangana, questioning the government’s ability to fulfill the aspirations of the youth. She urged voters to support the Congress party, emphasizing that their votes could pave the way for a government that addresses the concerns of the people.

Priyanak further criticized the rising prices of essential commodities, accusing the KCR government of being indifferent to the struggles of farmers. She alleged that the government had failed to provide loans to farmers and implement a loan waiver scheme. Additionally, she claimed that corruption was rampant in the government, citing instances such as leaked question papers for job exams and allegations of corruption in the Kaleswaram Lift Irrigation Project.

She took a swipe at both the BJP and BRS parties, accusing them of prioritizing power over the welfare of the people. She urged voters to use the upcoming election to be held on November 30 as an opportunity to convey their dissatisfaction with the BRS government and to support the formation of a Congress government in Telangana.
