New National Education Policy accepted by all, whole country working to implement it: HM Amit Shah

Muzaffarpur: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is restless in INDIA but has no option as BJP’s doors are closed for him.

Addressing a rally of his party BJP here, Shah said that the restlessness of Chief Minister Kumar was clearly visible in INDIA as his ambition to become its PM candidate stands shattered. Becoming a PM candidate is a distant dream for Chief Minister Kumar as he was not made even the convener of the new INDIA alliance of the opposition, he pointed out.

” In frustration, Kumar sometimes avoids attending programme of Congress while he also does not hesitate in targeting the party openly”, Shah said adding that there were more embarrassments in store for Kumar. RJD chief Lalu Prasad and Chief Minister Kumar were like a mixture of oil and water which couldn’t last long, he claimed.

The Union Minister said the population of backward and Extremely Backward Classes was shown less than their actual number in the recent caste survey while the population of Yadavas and Muslims was deliberately exaggerated. If RJD chief Lalu Prasad was so concerned for EBCs, he should declare that the next CM of Bihar would be from this category, he challenged.

Shah also came down heavily on Kumar for adopting a Muslim appeasement policy, saying if it was not stopped, the situation would aggravate in the Seemanchal region of Bihar in the days ahead. He appealed to people to ensure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi becomes PM for a third term in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and BJP could form the government in Bihar on its own in the 2025 Assembly poll.

Union Minister said the Congress-led UPA government had given Rs 1.5 lakh Crores to Bihar in its ten-year tenure while the Narendra Modi government had given Rs 6 lakhs crores to the state so far in nine years of its tenure. He also listed other steps of Narendra Modi’s government taken in the interests of Bihar.
