Rahul Gandhi flays Modi, says this election isn’t about him

Tumkuru: Former AICC President Rahul Gandhi on Monday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should speak about the problems afflicting Karnataka instead of speaking about himself.
“You (Modi) come to campaign in Karnataka for elections, but don’t speak about Karnataka. You speak about yourself. You have to count on what you did in Karnataka for the past three years and what you want to do for the next five years. What will you do for the youth, education, health and to fight corruption,” he said in response to PM Modi enlisting 91 abuses hurled against him.
The Gandhi scion made these remarks at an election rally here in Tumakuru district. The state goes to poll on May 10 and counting of votes is on May 13.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, on Sunday in a public meeting had said that PM Modi should learn from Rahul Gandhi to take abuses in his stride even as Indira Gandhi received bullets and Rajiv Gandhi sacrificed his life for the country.
Flaying AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge’s “venomous snake” barb at him, Modi on Saturday said till now the Congress party has hurled 91 different abuses against him. UNI
