We will challenge to SC against the decision of EC: Dr Neelam Gorhe

Pune: Deputy Chairperson of Legislative Council Dr Nrelam Gorhe said here on Saturday that her party (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray Shiv Sena) will challenge to Supreme Court against Election Commission decision who has given name Shiv Sena and their symbols to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde faction.

Gorhe was speaking to reporters after participating shivratri programs at Yerawada organized by party leader Anand Goyal here.

Recalling the moto of late Balasaheb Thackeray that 80 percent should focus on social work while 20 percent for party, Gorhe said while praising the work of Goyal towards societies.

Reiterating against Election Commission design, the deputy Speaker said that we will soon knock the door of Supreme Court against it.

Mr Goyal who is also Deputy Shiv Sena chief of pune has organized programs in large scale where he distributed snack and food to lakh of Shiv devotees coming from different districts of Maharashtra.

Gorhe also took the darshan of historical Tarakeshwar Temple which is century years old. Pune District chief coordinator Mr Sachin Ahir also spoke on occasion.

Deputy Leader Sushmatai Andhere, Aditya Shirodkar, Prithviraj Sutar, Shiv Sena City Chief Sanjay More, Gajanan Tharkude and several others party workers were present.

Ahir said that Lord Shiv Shankar drank poison and became Neelkanth, today Shiv Sainik also drinking such poison because of dirty politics are going in Maharashtra.

Mr Goyal said that the party will unite again under the leadership of party chief Uddhav Thackeray.

Deputy leader Sushma Andhare was also present and congratulated the program. She said that Goyal has been carrying out the activity of distributing snacks non-stop for the past twelve years. It has been recorded in the word book of record that 18 kg of khichdi was distributed among 90 to 95 thousand devotees and Shiv devotees.
