Lucknow: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Bhupendra Singh on Wednesday justified the Yogi government’s decision to conduct a survey of madrasas in Uttar Pradesh and said that it is being done for the betterment of madrassas and to modernise them.
Addressing the inaugural session of the training camp of state BJP Minority Morcha, Singh said that the state government is conducting a survey for the betterment and modernisation of madrasas. Terming the ongoing debate on this issue as unnecessary, he said that the intention of the Yogi government behind this is to make madrasas better.
Singh said that BJP is ideology based organisation, which is carrying forward Indian culture, faith, traditions and heritage, in politics. He said that the majority of the political ideologies in the country other than the BJP are imported.
He said that the Modi government at the Center and the Yogi government in UP are taking action against the mafia and the anarchist elements, who humiliate women and those who grab the rights of the poor.
