Portfolios allocated among newly inducted ministers in Bihar

Patna : After expanding cabinet on Tuesday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar allocated portfolios among the newly inducted ministers of Grand Alliance government.

According to the notification General Administration, Home, Cabinet Secretariat, Vigilance, Election and the departments which have not been allotted as yet would be with the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Prasad Yadav will be looking after health, road construction department, Urban and development and rural works.

Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has been allotted with finance, commercial taxes and parliamentary affairs portfolio whereas Vijendra Prasad Yadav had been and entrusted with the responsibilities of energy and Planning and development.

Revenue and land reforms has been given to Alok Kumar Mehta, environment, forest and climate changes to Tej Pratap Yadav, animal and husbandry resources to Afaq Alam, building construction

to Ashok Choudhary, rural development to Shravan Kumar, Cooperative to Surendra Prasad Yadav, mines and geology to Ramanand Yadav, food and consumer protection to Leshi Singh, social welfare to Madan Sahni, tourism to Kumar Saravjit, public health and engineering department to Lalit Kumar Yadav, scheduled caste schedule tribe welfare to Santosh Kumar Suman, water resources and information and Public Relations department to Sanjay Kumar Jha, transport to Sheela Kumari, industry to Sameer Kumar, education to Chandrasekhar, Science and Technology to Sumit Kumar Singh, excise and registration to Sunil Kumar, backward and extremely backward welfare to Anita Devi, art z culture and youth to Jitendra Kumar Rai, minor irrigation resources to Jayanth Raj, agriculture to Sudhakar Singh, Minority Welfare to Jama Khan, Panchayati Raj to Murari Prasad Gautam, law to Kartik Kumar, sugarcane industry to Shameem Ahmed disaster management to Shahnawaz, labour resources to Surendra Ram and information and technology to Mohammad
