Kanpur : Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has hit out at the Samajwadi Party saying that they have not even thought of socialism ever and leaders like Rahul Gandhi was using his energy only to defame the country.
Singh said BJP have done what they have said and whatever was put in the election manifesto, has been fulfilled.
The defence minister was addressing a public meeting in Kanpur’s Cantt assembly constituency on Wednesday.
Attacking Congress leader Rahul Gandhi , he said an Australian investigative journalist has written in a newspaper named Klekshan that, a large number of Chinese army personnel have been killed in the Indo- Chinese conflict but Rahul Gandhi and some political parties are bent on defaming their own country, trying to put a question mark on the bravery, courage and valour of our army personnel.
” Now you have to decide how they can be answered in a democratic system,” he asked the people.
He said Samajwadi Party called themselves as socialists but they have no such thinking.
” A socialist is one who can solve the fear and hunger of the common people, he is a socialist. Somebody is doing this work in the politics of India, that our PM Narendra Modi is doing, he is a socialist in the true sense. In the crisis of Corona large number of people became unemployed, all work stopped in the lockdown. At that time our Prime Minister did the work of worrying about those people, and today 80 crore people are being provided free ration twice a month. This is not seen in any country of the world, but Prime Minister has done in our India today.
