Ramban :Parnote-A, Mahakund, Dharam&Nachlana areas of district Ramban have been declared as Micro Containment Zones in view of spike in Covid positive cases.
As per a notification issued by District Magistrate, Mussarat Islam, Parnote-A falling in Tehsil and Police Station (PS) Ramban, Mahakund and Dharam falling in Tehsil and PS Gool and Nachlana in Tehsil Khari have been declared as Micro Containment Zones in view of the emergence of clusters of Covid positive cases. The surrounding areas of these locations have been declared as Buffer Zones.
The movement of the people in and out of the containment zone shall be restricted and there shall be complete lockdown and no vehicular movement will be allowed in and out of these areas.
The Health department has been directed to ensure 100 per cent Covid sampling of people in these areas to break the chain of transmission.
The District Administration has also urged the people to cooperate with the field staff and stick to Covid protocols.
