Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, in presence of MoS in PMO, GOI, Dr. Jitendra Singh appreciated District Development Commissioner, Ramban Mussarat Islam for securing 1st rank in Social Welfare and Development sectors in Jammu and Kashmir. With 58 indicators, the framework assessed different aspects of development and administration in sectors such as agriculture, commerce and industry,human resource development, social welfare and development, public health, public infrastructure and utilities, economic governance, and public safety among others.
