826 vaccinated for Covid in 15-17 age group, 2793 samples collected in Ramban

Ramban  : As per District Immunization Officer, Ramban, Dr, Suresh the Health Department on Friday administered vaccine doses to 1359 people including 826 children in 15-17 years age group which includes 300 in Medical Block Banihal, 225 in Batote, 110 in Ukhral and 191 in Gool.
Continuing the enforcement drive to implement Covid protocol across the district Ramban, the Enforcement teams Friday fined scores of violators for roaming without wearing face masks and not maintaining physical distance.
The enforcement teams, during the inspection in their respective jurisdictions, recovered a fine of Rs. 36,400 taking the total amount fined since April 1, 2021 to Rs. 80, 60,500. The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC.
As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, Dr. Mohammad FareedBhat, the Health Department has collected 2793 samples including 622 RT-PCR and 2171 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 1359 persons at 34 dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.
