DC Reasi launches IEC campaign “Corona KoKaro Na”

Reasi| : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Charandeep Singh launched IEC campaign “Corona KoKaro Na”* for spreading massive awareness among general public as precautionary measure to control the surge of new COVID-19 vibrant in the district.
Three member media team comprising District Panchayat Officer (DPO), District Informatics Officer (DIO), District Information officer and Tehsildar Headquarter has also been engaged to undertake and monitor the awareness campaign.
Slew of instructions have been passed by Deputy Commissioner to the team for strengthening the campaign after involving prominent citizens, religious leaders, local artists, students and health experts who can share their activities through audio, video or also through photographs.
The Deputy Commissioner also instructed officers to make use of print, electronic and social media for further disseminating the information collected through different medium so that general public come out at their own to become part of this ongoing campaign.
It was also instructed that during this campaign, use of posters, pamphlets, announcements, slogans, poetry symposium, competitions etc shall be made for further intensifying the campaign in the district.
The campaign shall also engage PRI members, district and block level officers who will play major in their areas to motivate local people.
