Training for HoIs, DDOs concludes in Kathua

Kathua| : Three day training programme organised by the Chief Education Office Kathua on JK PAYSYS, BEAMS, GeM Portal, JKCPIS and Aadharshila for DDOs/HOIs and other stakeholders of district culminated, here Saturday.
The valedictory function was held at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Kathua.
The program was initiated on the directions of Principal Secretary to Government B K Singh and was organised under the guidance of Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, Director School Education.
Sanjeev Vaid, Principal of the school welcomed the Chief Guest Praksh Lal Thappa, Chief Education Officer Kathua and special guest Mahesh Sharma, Chief Accounts Officer, Directorate of School Education Jammu, along with other dignitaries and guests.
He presented a brief report on the three day training programme and shared valuable insight regarding the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the CEO motivated the students, teaching community and other officials of the department to use technology based platforms for bringing in transparency and accountability into the system and facilitate smooth implementation of government schemes.
The Chief Accounts Officer, Directorate of School Education Jammu, who was the special guest on the occasion, asked the DDOs to utilize funds in a judicious and time bound manner so as to maximize the benefits. He said 70% of the funds are to be utilized by 31st of December 2021 as per the directions of the government.
Satinder Singh Pathania, Incharge District Budget Team, presented the formal vote of thanks on the occasion.
