Kupwara:The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Friday convened a meeting of Revenue officers to review various revenue related matters in the district.
On the occasion, the DC took a detailed review of various revenue matters including migrant grievance disposal, Updated migrant inventory, village/patwar halqa/Nayabat/Tehsil wise action plan etc.
The DC directed the officers to ensure proper disposal of grievances within the given time frame.
On the demand of Tehsildars, the DC also directed the concerned for establishment of Record rooms in every Tehsil to preserve the necessary revenue record.
He further directed the concerned officers to evict/retrieve the land under Roshni Act within six months in all tehsils of Kupwara district.
Regarding encroachment, the DC stressed upon the officers to strictly deal against the encroachers to put the general public at ease.
