Kupwara: The Experts and Scientists from Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Kupwara Wednesday visited Wahipora and other adjoining areas of Langate block to create awareness amongst farmers and orchardists about better productivity of crops and fruits.
During the visit, the present status of various standing crops and fruits was also analyzed.
The experts were accompanied by Chairman Block Development Council Langate, Showkat Pandith and other PRI members, besides, farmers of the area.
The farmers discussed important issues about better productivity and raised queries regarding various issues related to good farming. The experts provided the technical guidance to overcome any problem which could result in loss of crop productivity.
On the occasion, team Information Department Kupwara appealed the people to follow COVID appropriate behaviour and other SOPs strictly to keep the pandemic at bay. People were also requested to ensure proper use of masks and maintain hand hygiene and social distance.
