Budgam: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza Tuesday informed that presently there are 83 active Covid positive cases in the district and the positivity rate is at 0.5 percent, while recovery rate is above 99 percent.
The DC said said this during press briefing here adding that during the past week more cases were reported in some areas but due to timely intervention, the spread has been stopped.
The DC reiterated that things are improving rapidly, however we still have to remain cautious, adhere to all Covid SOPs, exhibit Covid appropriate behavior, Wear masks, avoid mass gatherings and spitting in the open.
