Shopian: To sensitize the common masses about the Covid -19 Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) and related SOPs, the District Information Centre (DIC) Shopian Tuesday conducted an awareness campaign through announcements in the vicinity of Shopian town here.
Speaking on the occasion, the District Information Officer (DIO) Shopian, Showkat Ahmed Khan said that the main objective of organising this awareness campaign is to generate awareness among the masses about Covid-19 Appropriate Behaviour. He also advised the common masses to protect themselves and others from coronavirus by strictly adhering to CAB and SOPs.
He urged the public to wear masks, wash hands with soap frequently and maintain social distance besides undertake vaccination as these are the only effective tools for combating the resurgence of Covid infection and possible 3rd wave.
