B’Pora:People in Bandipora have expressed their strong resentment against district administration for not providing transport facility from Bus stand to Mini secretrait, thus making them suffer.
“We are compelled to walk 2-Kms everyday to get a vehicle and the Employees, patients and aged are the worst sufferers,” a group of people said.
They said that after the administration relocated bus stand, they started meeting inconveniences, as no vehicle is plying from bus stand to Mini secretrait.
Ehsaan Ahmad, a regular commuter said, “administration should make necessary arrangements for commuters. As compared to the new bus stand, the old bus stand was situated in close proximity to all government offices and education institutions,” he said.
Another commuter, Saimia Bhat said, “Our only demand is that few vehicles must be allowed to ply from bus stand to mini secretrait,”. She complained that she has to walk 2 Km’s everyday in order to board a vehicle for home.
Assistant Regional Transport Officer Bandipora, Suhayb Wani admitted that people were suffering because of non availiability of transport service. He assured that auto service to this route will be started in few days.
