Stranded family rescued by Bandipora distt admin

Bandipora: The district administration Bandipora on Wednesday rescued one family in Shadipora Bandipora following heavy snowfall, an official said.
District administration of Bandipora rescued one nomadic family stranded in the Shadipora area of the Bandipora district. The familiy was provided accommodation at Shadipora, apart from blankets, ration and assistance for basic needs. The nomadic family were on their way to Rajouri district when they were caught in heavy snowfall, he said. He added that responding to the SOS Call for help & on the directions of DDC Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmed, immediate food, Shelter and heating arrangements was made in Shadipora for a stranded family hailing from Rajouri. The family wast stuck due to ensuing snowfall and having no resources for stay.
