Ghulam Mohiuddin, hailing from Arin area of District Bandipora who had been nominated as Sarpanch of Dardpora Halqa of Arin block in 2011 Panchayat Elections and currently Sarpanch of Balhama Halqa of Arin Block of Bandipora District.
Ghulam Mohi-ud-din has filled nomination for Arin block as independent candidate by saying that lack of development in my block forced me to contest elections as we have been.
“I was forced to contest the election because there has been no development in our block, adding every politician who has come here so far has misled our villagers.
“Only I want development of my block. I had no other interest in coming to the polls because there is no development in our block yet we have a hospital here by the administration but there is no doctor in it and people are dying,” he said.
“I ask all the people in my area to make me successful and see what happens next. I will lead the people of my area towards development,” he added.
He futher said that there are some candidates here who are misleading people. “I want to tell people don’t believe their lies because they have always cheated us which is why we are in trouble today” he added.
