The DDC stressed that efforts must be made by associated stakeholders to ensure that the benefits of the cluster establishment are percolated among the target population. Emphasizing on entrepreneur development under MSME, the DDC said district Administration will ensure hand holding and financial assistance through various financial institutions and with the help of NABARD.
He also asked the stakeholders to elect their monitoring body so that the apex committee is framed and added that the cluster will not benefit the artisans of Ranipora village but the artisan community of the whole district.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director KVIB, technical staff and other senior officers of the board besides officers from Implementing Agency and Technical Agency and associated artisans and workers were also present during the interactive session.
