Commissioner Survey & Land Records sets 10-Day deadline for AgriStack Initiation

Digital Land &AgriStack Initiatives reviewed in Baramulla

 

Baramulla : Commissioner, Survey and Land Records, J&K, Inder Jeet Wednesday  chaired a review meeting at main meeting hall Baramulla to assess the progress of various land and agriculture-related digital initiatives in Baramulla district, including Digital Crop Survey, AgriStack, Farmer Registration and backlog mutations.

The meeting reviewed the latest district-level progress as of October 07, 2026. Under the Digital Crop Survey, 4,53,975 plots have been surveyed, achieving 98.6 percent progress, while 22,787 plots remain unable to be surveyed.

Under AgriStack, 5,48,012 out of 6,95,975 Jamabandi entries have been approved, reflecting 78.7 percent progress, while initiation has reached 85.4 percent. Tehsil-wise progress was also reviewed, with emphasis on expediting the remaining cases.

The meeting was further informed that 9,944 farmer registrations have been completed, of which 3,080 registrations have been approved. A total of 5,570 registrations are pending verification, while 1,294 are awaiting approval.

Reviewing backlog mutations, the meeting noted that out of 46,905 mutations, 46,282, or 98.7 percent, have been approved, leaving 623 pending cases. The status of pending mutations at different stages was also examined.

The Commissioner directed the concerned officers to intensify efforts for timely disposal of pending cases and ensure close monitoring at the tehsil level, with particular focus on verification and approval of farmer registrations, completion of AgriStack entries and disposal of remaining mutation cases.

He specifically directed that the AgriStack initiation process be completed within 10 days, with strict monitoring at the tehsil level to ensure timely completion.

The Commissioner further directed that Parti Sarkar land should be reflected and made available in all mutations, wherever applicable, to ensure proper updation and transparency in land records.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore S. A. Raina, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Baramulla, Arshad Ahmad Khan, Tehsildars and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
