Advisor Baseer chairs 90th BoD meeting of JKTDC

Srinagar: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan Friday chaired the 90th Board of Directors’ meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC) at SKICC here.
Secretary Tourism, Managing Director JKTDC and other officers were present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, the Advisor asked the JKTDC to evolve strategies for optimal utilization of its assets and for better returns.
He said due to the prevailing pandemic JKTDC should come up with innovative strategies for effective utilization of its assets.
He also directed for pursuing pending court cases and other issues of the Corporation by effectively projecting its clai
MD JKTDC gave a detailed presentation about various steps being taken by the JKTDC to improve business and address management issues.
He also briefed the Board on the performance of the Corporation and its future trajectory based on the business challenges and opportunities in the hospitality sector. He also gave an insight into the various development works taken up during 2019-20.
It was given out in the meeting that computer based billing system and creation of accounting software will be introduced to eliminate pilferage besides other decisions were taken.
