The scheme in convergence with Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (AB-PMJAY) will provide Health Insurance Cover of Rs 5 lakh/family/year to all the residents of UT, including serving and retired employees.
Detailed deliberations about the empanelment of private health care providers were held by SHA.
Over 30 non-empaneled private health-care providers participated in the workshop.
Chief Executive Officer, SHA, Bhupinder Kumar urged the participating Hospital administrators to come forward and join this scheme. He assured the participants that SHA, J&K shall provide all possible assistance/facilitation during and after the empanelment.
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir announced the Health Insurance Scheme which will cover around 15 lakh households, not covered under AB-PMJAY. The same benefits as existing under AB-PMJAY shall be extended to the rest of the residents.
