Principal Secretary School Education and Skill Development, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon was the chief speaker and inaugurated the webinar. Dr Samoon highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship and urged the students to improve their skills to increase their employability.
The faculty members of JKEDI gave a detailed presentation about the entrepreneurial ecosystem in J&K. Aijaz Ahmed Mulla, Assistant Faculty at the Institute, talked about entrepreneurial motivation, risk and barriers to entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial mind-set, opportunity-driven entrepreneurship, and necessity driven entrepreneurship. He also talked about various schemes implemented by the Institute for the young prospective entrepreneurs and assured the participants that entrepreneurship can be a viable career option.
