Hakeem demands foolproof Muharam arrangements in Budgam

Srinagar:Chaiman People’s Democratic Front ( PDF) Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has asked the district administration Budgam to ensure foolproof arrangemets for the smooth observance of ensuing holly Muhharam-ul- Haram.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Hakeem asked the district administration Budgam to make all the required arrangements to facilitate the people especially devotees of Hazrat Imam Hussain ( AS) to observe Muhharam -ul-Haram smoothly with full religious fervour and sanctity. He has asked the concerned engineers to ensure availability of uninterrupted water and power supply in and around various Imambaras adding that all the roads, lanes and inner links leading to Imambaras should be repaired and black topped wherever necessary .He also called for pressing into service additional water tankers especially in Shia dominated area so that devotees do not face any difficulty. He has urged the need to provide ration, essential commodities and cooking LPG to the people in adequate quantity.
He also urged for making proper LED lighting arrangements in and around various Imambaras of the district.He has asked engineers of various departments to conduct a thorough visit to about 15 Shia dominated villages of Khansahib constituency to make necessary arrangements on the eve of Muharam-ul-Haram.
Hakeem also urged for making adequate medical facilities in all the Shia dominated areas of Bugam and Khansahib including First Aid camps and additional Ambulance services.
PDF Chairman has appealed to the people to strictly adher to Standard of Operation ( SOPs) and health advisories issued by the WHO against the spread of Coronaviru , while observing the religion occasion of Muhharam. He said social distancing should be maintained and face masks used without any lapse to ensure protection from the dreaded Coronaviru infection.
