Srinagar | September, 09: Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) G P Singh on Wednesday called for close coordination among security agencies to respond effectively to emerging challenges. Officials said Singh concluded his three-day Kashmir visit by chairing a high-level security meeting featuring top commanders and paramilitary officers.
The meeting focused on the prevailing security scenario, law and order, deployment strategies, and overall operational preparedness across the region. During the session, senior officers briefed Singh on ground conditions across different parts of Kashmir. Sources said the CRPF chief directed commanders to maintain a vigilant eye on developments and ensure security arrangements remain dynamic and responsive. Singh emphasised the necessity of seamless cooperation among different security agencies to prevent attempts to disturb peace, directing officers to discharge their duties professionally to maintain a safe environment for the public.
