TLSC Haveli observes “World Day of Int’l Justice”

Poonch:  Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Haveli, Poonch Friday observed “World Day of International Justice” here at District Court Complex Poonch.

Chairman District Legal Services Authority Poonch, Madan Lal; Chairman TLSC Haveli Poonch, Som Lal; Secretary District Legal Services Authority Poonch, Javed Rana Hakla; Senior Advocate Younis Chouhan, Senior Advocate I.A.Bazmi, Senior Advocate Mohd Ishaq Khan, Advocate Bhanu Partap, Retainer Lawyers, Legal Aid Staff, and Para Legal Volunteers participated in the event.

The aim of this day is to unite everyone who wants to support justice as well as promote victim’s rights. It is to help prevent serious crimes and those that put the peace, security and well-being of the world at risk.

Chairman DLSA also enlightened the legal provision of the Criminal and International Court of Justice.

The speakers highlighted that the new system of international criminal justice represents a great victory for the protection of universal human rights, the advancement of human security and the progress of the national legal syste The creation of the International Criminal Court provides a mechanism to save lives, deter conflicts and diminish war in the twenty-first century.

The Chairman DLSA enlightened the legal provision of the Criminal and International Court of Justice.

The Chairman TLSC Haveli Poonch said the theme of the International Justice Day 2020 is “Closing the Inequalities gap to achieve social Justice”. He further highlighted the importance of the day to raise voice against social injustice and to bring the various communities internationally together to eliminate poverty, gender, physical discrimination, illiteracy, unemployment, religious discrimination to make a socially integrated society.
