Anil Kumar inspects Transit accommodation at Kulangam, reviews development works

Kupwara| Sept. 12:Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Public Works (R&B) Department, Anil Kumar Singh, Saturday conducted an on-site inspection of the Transit Accommodation at Kulangam and reviewed the ongoing development works being executed in the area.
The ACS was accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Shrikant Suse and officers of the concerned departments and executing agencies.
During the inspection, Anil Kumar took a detailed assessment of the ongoing works and reviewed the progress of various developmental projects at the Transit Accommodation. The concerned officers briefed him about the status of the works, execution timelines and the facilities being provided to the residents.
The ACS appreciated the quality and overall execution of the works there, describing it as one of the best-developed migrant colonies in Kashmir. He directed the concerned officers and executing agencies to ensure that all the remaining buildings are completed in a similar manner, maintaining the same standards of quality, planning and aesthetics. He stressed upon the need for proper plantation, landscaping and development of small parks and green spaces within the colony to further enhance its overall appearance and provide a pleasant and healthy environment for the residents.
He directed the officers to maintain close coordination and ensure that all necessary civic and basic facilities are made available at the Transit Accommodation at the earliest. He reiterated the administration’s commitment towards timely completion of development projects and provision of better facilities and a conducive living environment to the residents.
