Ang: A woman was killed in an accident that took place in Kokarnag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday afternoon.
Officials identified the deceased as Kulsooma Banoo, 40, wife of Mohammad Yousuf Wani, of Vailoo Kokarnag.
The woman fell down from a motorcycle at Dindipora Kokarnag, leaving her severely wounded, officials said, adding that the injured woman was immediately rushed to Public Health Centre (PHC) Larnoo wherefrom she was referred to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Kokarnag.
