Srinagar: Shah Faesal, former IAS officer, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here Tuesday.
Faesal apprised Governor about his views relating to bringing peace and normalcy in the State. Shah Faesal briefed the Governor regarding the plight of political detainees shifted to jails outside the State and sought his intervention in seeking their immediate release. While discussing the current political situation in the State, Shah Faesal requested the Governor to completely withdraw the Highway Ban order as it had put millions of people to extreme hardships and alienated Kashmiris further. Faesal suggested that the Governor’s Administration should ensure justice with the unemployed educated youth of the State by providing them employment opportunities and ensuring transparency in recruitment process.
