New Delhi: BJP Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narsimha Rao was attacked on Thursday during his press conference here.
A man hurled his shoe at Mr Rao when he was holding his press conference at party headquarters here.
The man, identified as Dr Shakti Bhargav, was held by security staff immediately.
According to sources, Bhargav said he was ”very angry” with the saffron party for giving ticket to Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur from Bhopal Constituency.
Malegaon attack-accused Sadhvi Pragya was pitted against Congress leader Digvijaya Singh by the party and she was given the ticket on Wednesday.
