Baramulla: Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Farooq Ahmad Baba Thursday imposed a fine of Rs 13000 on 07 shopkeepers for providing items in unhygienic condition besides other sub-standard services to the visiting customers.
A team of officials inspected various shopkeepers in the district wherein they found the sub-standard services and consumables in unhygienic condition are being provided to the people. Consequently, the matter was brought into the notice of ADC, as the adjudicating officer, imposed fine under various sections of the Food Safety & Standard Act. He also warned them to abide by the legal regulations besides providing qualitative services to the people.
