Panchayat Polls: 2nd round of training for RO, AROs held at Pulwama

Pulwama : To ensure smooth conduct of upcoming Panchayat elections in the district, 2nd round of training for Returning Officers (ROs), Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) and Nodal Officers were held at Pulwama Monday under the supervision of District Election Officer Pulwama.
During the training program, all ROs and AROs were imparted training about their role and responsibilities and sensitized about Model Code of Conduct, Nomination Process, Scrutiny of Nomination Forms, Withdrawal of Candidature and Allotment of Symbols for the smooth conduct of the elections.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Tral and Awantipora, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Commissioner Development, RO’s ARO’s, were present on the occasion
Meanwhile, the DEO called upon the concerned officers to stay prepared well before the polls. He also urged the officers to perform their duties with dedication and strictly adhere to the guidelines of ECI for the smooth conduct of Panchayat polls.
